ACHNASHEEN is approximately 42 miles north west of Inverness where the road splits for Gairloch and Poolewe or Lochcarron and the Kyle of Lochalsh. The village has a Post office, a Railway Station, a Petrol Station, a Hotel and a Jewellery Workshop,Gallery and Cafe. The nearest shop is at Kinlochewe 9 miles away.
ACCOMMODATION comprises Living /dining room with panoramic views south to Ledgowan and Carn Gorm. Sliding patio doors give access to a raised, covered deck with open views east, south and west.
Adjacent to the living area is a galley style kitchen with a mezzanine gallery lounge above. There is a storage room for luggage etc. off the gallery.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin with ample cupboard space. All beds have firm interior sprung mattresses and feather down duvets. A travel cot is available. The Cottage sleeps four in comfort.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, W.C., basin and heated towel rail.
EQUIPMENT includes four-ring cooker with oven and grill, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, colour t.v. and radio-cassette player. HEATING is provided by electric total control. The building is very well insulated and is double-glazed throughout. All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the rental.
